Located on the first floor in the southwest end of the main casa, this is a two-level room. The first floor room connects to a charming screen porch with a sitting area conducive for conversations. The second level is a loft with floor beds. This room is ideal for a family. Plus, the room has two toilets and baths.

Modern pop art posters hang in the room and the deck has a charming barbers chair.

Located at the far end of the property, this long room is far from the common areas of the casa. It has double sliding doors that open almost the entire stretch of the room to the outdoors. Huge museum posters give character to the room and a small round table creates a cozy setting area.

This stand-alone casita is our most romantic suite. A large oil painting of Casa San Pablo’s pavilion by Malyn Banayog welcomes guests to the room. Two sets of sliding glass doors open to a great view of our palm garden. The spacious room has a large bed, a small day bed, as well as a cozy sitting area. Nude charcoal drawings by members of the Saturday Group adorn one wall.

A thought provoking oil painting by Ranelle Dial, called ‘Deserted II’ catches one’s attention as you enter the room.On an adjacent wall, an oil on canvas painting by E.J. Cabangon called ‘Jamming’ depicts wind up circus toys.

We’ve named this room after San Pablo-born poet Rofel Brion, our teacher, friend, and matchmaker. In the 1980s, he opened up his dorm room at the Ateneo de Manila to host writing workshops, poetry readings, evenings of singing and of meaningful conversations. Through these gatherings, he inspired many of his students to be writers. Meaningful friendships also blossomed with him and around him. We hope you too will find the inspiration to write as you stay in this room. The screened window opens to a view of the garden below.

Room 6

Located on the second floor in the northeast end of the building, this room is large enough for a family. It has a loft, which kids love to stay in. On the main level, there are two double deck beds. The room opens to an outdoor deck which is ideal for moon gazing and for shooting the afternoon breeze.

The room is named after the collection of photographs taken by Boots on trips abroad and around the Philippines. On these trips, he focused on photographing doors and windows because to him they represent sanctuaries. Behind each door and window are worlds we may never know.
