Description
Located on the first floor in the southeast wing of the building, this cozy room has magenta walls that embrace and cocoon guests. It opens to a covered deck with an intimate sitting area for those late night conversations or early morning coffee sit-ins. The deck overlooks a bamboo garden. There is a connecting door to Room 4 for families who want to have adjoining rooms.
This room is named after the collection of bottles and paper mache’ horses called taka’. At Casa San Pablo, we’d like to inspire you to find beauty in the most ordinary things. Into a discarded perfume bottle we throw in some wildflowers and beauty is reborn. Craftsmen from Paete, Laguna, take sheets of discarded newspaper, mold them into wonderful toy horses and joy is recaptured. The bedroom floor is stained concrete with ikat area rugs. A pastel triptych depicting red arm chairs and a coffee table captures the whimsical coziness of the room.
