AIESEC-Miriam College Kicks off A-Camp 2014 at Casa San Pablo

BRINGING IN 60 WOMENT STUDENT LEADERS, AIESEC Miriam College kicked off its annual Assimilation Camp (A-Camp 2014) at Casa San Pablo last August 16-17, 2014.  AIESEC is a global student-run non-profit and non-political organization that provides platforms and avenues for leadership development experiences.

With the camp specifically designed to enable delegates to learn and immerse into AIESEC culture and values, Casa San Pablo’s quaint surroundings perfectly suited the organization’s venue requirements. The day-long activities which called for active group interface and personal interactions fitted nicely into our group-friendly environment. Our spacious ground and multi-purpose pavilion, which could hold large groups, also added elements of functionality, convenience, and comfort for our guests. The calm ambience of Casa San Pablo invited as well uninterrupted and memorable bonding moments for our young participants. It just gladdens us to see these young women form new friendships, while accepting great expectations as they readily learn and assume leadership responsibilities.

Boasting of a large, established student base and network in more than a hundred countries and territories around the world, AIESEC’s A-Camp at Casa San Pablo successfully highlighted the organization’s growing community of young leaders in the country. The event also reinforces Miriam College’s cultivation of Maryknoll’s culture of leadership through continued focus and support on training young women leaders. Thank you AIESEC and Miriam College for making our home a part of your great event.
