Kimberly Clark Enjoys Our San Pablo Sightseeing Tour

TO CAP THEIR TWO-DAY STAY at Casa San Pablo, the Digital Service Team of Kimberly Clark Philippines took a sightseeing tour of San Pablo and its neighboring town of Tiaong. Innkeepers Boots & An Alcantara personally led the group to the different sites sharing insights into the local history and culture, as well as personal anecdotes. The tour kicked off with a lecture on the origin of San Pablo's seven lakes and the roots in coconut plantation life.

First stop of the tour was Ugu Bigyan's Potter's Garden in Tiaong, Quezon, which is just a half hour drive away from Casa San Pablo. There the group got a chance to see the process of making pottery from the preparation of the clay, molding and shaping pieces, to wheel throwing and kiln firing. They also did some shopping at the pottery gallery.

Next stop was San Pablo Cathedral, one of the oldest churches in the Philippines, where the group paid the traditional visit to the church in thankgiving for safe travels.

Then the team made their way to Pandin Lake, the most pristine and best preserved of San Pablo's seven lakes. The group took a raft across the lake and had a delicious lunch prepared by the women of the Pandin community. Last stop on the tour was a visit to Samplaoc lake, the biggest and most accessible of San Pablo's seven lakes. “We had such a wonderful time staying at your beautiful place, we look forward to coming back here to experience it all over again and again” says Sir Rex, Team Leader.

Sightseeing tours around San Pablo are available by special arrangement with Casa San Pablo.
